Lung Cancer Alliance and a coalition of leading professional, government and non-governmental organizations joined the American Cancer Society to announce they will be coming together to form the National Lung Cancer Roundtable to accelerate the nation’s efforts to reduce mortality from lung cancer. The group will focus on ensuring those at high-risk for lung cancer have access to high-quality screening, while also working to ensure patients receive timely, patient-centered, state-of-the-art care for all stages of lung cancer. The coalition is supported by AstraZeneca.
So how does one join the round table?
We are at the very beginning of a process that will need everyone’s efforts to be successful. As the Roundtable framework solidifies, we will keep our partners informed of developments and alert everyone to opportunities to more directly engage as they emerge.
