My name is Josephine van Alphen, I am 64 years old and was diagnosed with metastatic lung cancer stadium 4 in September 2013. I do have a ROS1 mutation. I am Dutch and a non smoker.
From September till and including December 2013 I had 4 chemo treatments with alimta and cisplatin. The tumors remained the same. For the year 2014 I had no treatment at all, the tumors remained the same. In January 2015 I had a growth increase of 20% in the tumors. I went to Germany (Uniklinik in Cologne) where I joined a studies with Crizotinib from March 2015.
As a result, the tumors shrank by 30%.
I am still in this study in Cologne and I am using Crizotinib.
